“I used to change your diapers” too many people had access to changing me I feel. I think it’s best we both move on

I want to get out of my hometown for this reason I can’t do anything as an adult without it getting back to a family member bc someone they know saw me out and about. I don’t want to know my whole town or be related to them 💀

My sister and I are 5 years apart but look identical and I moved away when I was 12 and people come up and ask if we’re the other so there have been times I haven’t actually ever even met the person 😭

It’s even worse when you left your hometown and come back for a visit. 15 years later I still hear “oh you’re Allen’s girl!” at least twice a visit

Great grandfather died in the 70s I was born in 89. Folks who knew him will walk up and talk to me and like I love getting to meet him through them but also sir I’m not hugging you because a man who died when my dad was a child let you fish at our farm. Or no ma’am I don’t remember his big ole dog other than the horror of the time I dug the dog up while trying to bury my cat when I was 9. We don’t pass down complete memory sets generation to generation I don’t know you.

I was at the gas station and the lady said “is your mom Susan?” And I replied “are you asking because I look like her or because she owes you money?” And she said “oh no, hi I’m your cousin Virginia”😂😂😂😂😂

I had this happen all the time, I still do when I’m back with my mama. I go back at least monthly even though I have my own home now and live an hour away.
