As a FA thank you SO much for clearing this up. I swear this is not hard to understand and it’s said while booking the flight, while checking in, during the GA announcements and multiple times in the boarding and demo announcements

I get it’s the law but my main issue is they still offer alcoholic beverages on flight, it’s just extremely overpriced. Personally, they should limit the amount of alcohol you can bring and consume on board but ofc then they’d be losing money.

On my last flight (flying American) saw a man across and up one row pull out a 100 mL jack daniels, mix it in his coke, and hand the bottle to the flight attendant to throw away when she came to collect trash 💀

Right! I can buy a whole case of 25 year old scotch in the duty free (with an international boarding pass) and bring it on board if it works in my carryon allowance. I can’t crack open a bottle and drink it on the flight.
