The Wizard of Oz has always been a favorite and holds deep meaning to our family. I haven’t been able to watch it without falling apart since my father passed in 2008. I’d like to be able to see it again, I just know that I’d be a total wreck if I were to see it in such an incredible atmosphere as this, and becoming a sobbing mess in public is not exactly on my bucket list. But dang, this does look amazing and I would so love to see it. My father was on hospice care at the end and we were so grateful that he could be in his own home, surrounded by family in his last few days. Once he slipped into the coma from which he never awoke, and we knew it was a matter of hours, not days, I kissed him on the cheek and whispered into his ear, “Goodbye Scarecrow, I think I’ll miss you most of all”. ❤️

Absolutely love the “Wizard of Oz”!! Altime favorite movie since I was 5 yrs old. Another movie that would be amazing is “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”! Can you imagine the part when they go into the tunnel in the boat?!? 😳

It seems in life the stars align in the production of an movie for the production crew, cast, music and the audience in but a rare moment in life. This version of the Wizard of Oz was exactly the star that mesmerized me as a very young child. I so cherish this movie as one of my top 10 movies of all times to this day at the age of 67. God is good!

I remember the first time I seen this movie, maybe 7 or 8 years old… my father begged me to watch but is was in black and white so I wasent interested. So glad he asked me to wait and watch. One of my fav earliest memory of my dad. One of my all time fav movies forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
