The only time we’re stopping play in this situation is when the contact clearly can’t be ignored — for example, a hit to the head. In that case, even if the pass is completed, it’s a foul. Period. This is part of the gray area of the game — and handling the gray area is what separates good officials from great ones. Recognize this scenario the next time it shows up and trust your patience. ✅ Hold the whistle when appropriate. 🎯 Serve the game.
