I also just recommend bringing a book and asking for a booth to hole up in, letting the server know ahead of time that you’re going to probably take your time and to not stress over you, then leaving a good sized tip for taking up the table.

Girl I did once this but just putting notes in my phone and the section of the restaurant I sat at started asking me for menu recs. Truly one of the most fun BSing experiences I’ve ever had doing this LOL cheers to the Newport grannies
