Umm… yes. Every animal also deserves shelter and food. Humans play a huge role in destroying their ecosystems and limiting their food supplies/production. It’s a really weird take to claim to be pro life and think some forms of life are less deserving of rights. It doesn’t have to be one or the other it can be BOTH.

even if we go by her analogy, yes animals that are struggling are also being helped and provided "housing" by providing federally protected areas that people are not allowed to hunt the animals in. there's also federal laws prohibiting us touching some animal at all like manatees. There's "free health care" provided to the extremely sick and injured and "nursing homes" to those that can't be released (easiest example the Dolphin tale movie). so yeah even animals get help when in need.

Also, animals shelter is literally outside. Their food is outside. Their shelter and food is literally free so why not humans. Most animal that doesn’t have access to food, are held by humans like????

Monkeys and many other animals take care of each other in their "society.". Wolves don't leave anyone behind..everyone gets fed, everyone is kept safe. Animals don't trwa each other like garbage the way humans do. They see value & worth in each other, while we see value & worth of someone by their money & what they have.

To be real, I believe every creature capable of individualism deserves the right to be happy. If they can feel grief, depression and pain, then they deserve happiness as a baseline. Nobody should have to come into this world and suffer. Why do we treat happiness as a privilege for the wealthy? If we wanted to we COULD make the world work for everyone. We’re just led by our own greed and selfishness that we’ve created this happiness scarcity idea, and that we have to take it from someone else to have it for ourselves. Then we say, “that’s just life” no that’s just the life WE made and we can do better.

I keep rats. If they know their friend is hungry, they make sure to reserve food for that friend. If they know their friend is unwell, they take extra time to groom and protect them. If they know their friend is sad, they take time to comfort them. If my rats can provide each other with basic care when needed, I really hope humans can too.

Yup every living creature deserves to have shelter and food. And if the resources exist to provide those things we have a duty to do so. It’s why we have animal rehabilitators and national parks. It’s why there are laws so we don’t over hunt and to hunt humanely.
