Use a mineral based sunscreen, protects a lot better! I really love the SkinBetter mineral sunscreen stick. Also, obagi nu-derm clear with 4% hydroquinone. The obagi you’ll use at night (this helps to lighten melasma/dark spots), the sunscreen stick in the day (sun contributes to melasma, must always protect with sunscreen). I hope this helps! 🫶🏼

Curious if it’s from birth control pills? Not trying to get personal but I had this experience and my melasma looked exactly like this.

Prescription Azelaic acid 15% paired with prescription Tretinoin at night = chef’s kiss👌💖💖 Also for any skin treatments you wanna try start with Groupon! As a beginner, you can find deals & try them out. That’s how I started my skin journey ☺️

Hi! Mineral sunscreen (zinc oxide) over chemical sunscreens! Supergoop is chemical I think. Also, use a pigment inhibitor serum with ingredients like tranexamic acid to decrease your skin from producing pigment. Azelaic and logic acid are also great. No steam, hot yoga, saunas that will also make melasma worse! Chemical peels work an esthetician are a great to start working on lightening those spots and evening tone.
