I taught summer school with an ENG teacher from a private school. Passing in the hall on the first day, we exchanged the standard "How are you?" greeting. After I said "I'm good," she sneered "I'm well." On the second morning, she said "How are you?" and I responded "I'm fantastically!" She never again spoke to me or made eye contact for another 5 weeks and 3 days.
