so APPARENTLY he entered the room without permission because his wife was in the room and asked for help getting out and when he entered his necklace was large and magnetic enough to pull him in and he didn't survive (apparently it was a bike chain necklace)

Please be careful posting this. Sure gold and silver won't, but people wear jewelery made out of all kinds of materials. You should always have them remove all jewelry before an MRI.

Our surgical MRI suites have ferromagnetic detectors and unless it flashes green or clears you… that door will not open for you. Very thankful for that because it’s honestly so easy to forget in our field especially when we’re used to rushing around.
