Here's a breakdown of what reportedly happened: The Broward County Sheriff's deputy attempted to pull over the vehicle the siblings were in. The siblings didn't understand they were being pulled over, possibly misinterpreting the deputy's signals as directing traffic to another lane. Believing the teens were purposefully evading, the deputy chased them down. The deputy allegedly pulled the brother out of the car, handcuffed him, and arrested him. After the arrest, and allegedly upon realizing his mistake, the officer reportedly lied about the incident.

He did not waive him over...he pointed as if to say go that way because it appeared to be a traffic accident ahead of the car. The cop is in the wrong!

For those wondering, the cop was out of his car and signaled for their car to pull over. The brother, who was driving, thought the officer was simply directing traffic and not asking them to pull over. The cop believes this means the brother “drove off” and that’s why once he pulled them over he pulled the brother out of the vehicle and handcuffed him.

I had started a brand new job in Virginia and I was looking at MapQuest trying to get to work and there was cops outside their car waving to someone on the other side of the road and I continued on the next thing I knew I was cornered by two cop cars at the 7-Eleven and they said I was speeding in a school zone and they were waving me down and I was fleeing and eluding police
