The cost to operate a restaurant is very high. Minimum wage is $20 in Seattle, minimum salary for salaried chefs& managers will be $80k 1/26. Food cost has been rising and at an all time high.

Seattle minimum wage is about 20 bucks and hour, including tipped jobs. South Dakota its probably 2.15 an hour plus tips.
