I was saved and baptized when I was about 12. My brother and I went to church every Sunday with our parents. When I became an adult I started living for the world for several years and I am ashamed of how sinful I was during that time. After this I spent 18 years in a marriage without God. My brother passed away in 2018 and I divorced my Godless husband in 2021. I've been going to church every week religiously since then and there were times that I would suddenly have the urge to read the word and write down what I learned in a journal. My father is also my pastor and for the past few years I have written each Sunday school lesson and each sermon in a dated journal. I didn't really realize that I was a lukewarm Christian. But about 2-3 weeks ago (July 4th to be exact) I felt God at work on me. I suddenly had a passion for reading the Bible and learning things I didn't know or understand before. I suddenly realized I no longer had any desires to watch television or listen to secular music. My prayers became more frequent and with much more emotion. I have OCD and severe anxiety and have been on so many medications to help me, and Friday at work I suddenly realized that I felt absolute peace. I wasn't worried at all about money, paying bills, buying groceries. Nothing...no anxiety at all. Just a calm peace. Now I can understand what a lukewarm Christian is because I was one.

A lukewarm Christian is one who doesn’t repent of their sins individually, being above and beyond obedient, focussing on GOD and loving GOD, in order to be on FIRE in an HONOURING WAY for what GOD wants is to repent of each sin individually (one by one) praying straight from your heart, being above and beyond obedient, loving & focussing completely on GOD, these are the beginning steps to being CLOSE TO GOD, along with the first steps of a PERFECT HEART which means ABSOLUTELY zero sin in your heart, GODS THRONE what that means is GODS love, joy, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, peace, patience, trust and self control and ALL these will be ADDED unto you is strength, courage, calmness, focus, a joyful heart and a good attitude.

I was there for too long. A believer and even got re baptized. Then Satan said we will see about that. I tried to run my life myself. Didn’t ask God for guidance. Got deep in my own sins. Went through a bad divorce and God said you ready for me now? He’s been my only need since. I’m so thankful he never gave up on me.

I used to be lukewarm. I used to pray during hard times and thank God for blessings however Jesus woke me up in October and it’s very different. I didn’t really know Jesus before. I just knew what the world told me of Him. I didn’t have a relationship with Him or love him with my whole heart, mind or body. I do now, Praise God. It’s not about works and what I’m doing, it’s about knowing Him enough to become one with Him. My faith drove that passion to know Him through prayer and reading the Bible, every other work I do is to please Him. It’s not what guarantees my salvation. Jesus’ finished work on the cross does that. 💙

To overcome means that there is work required. The work is complete surrendering by believing in Christ through a complete tribulation that is meant to raise up a person. Not by works means bragging about donating money and time instead of becoming spiritually mature instead of. Those deciding to just say they believe will not change in spirit at all. Many have already been raptured while others are still just talking about it.

lukwarmness isnt about salvation otherwise the bible it would contradict itself which is not possible only our interpretation is wrong.If salvation is free and by grace and we just have to accept it by believing the gospel that Jesus died for my sins and rose again and that moment the holy spirit marks us as an insurance of salvation which is eternal and everlasting ,what this can do with lukewarmness?? just saying
