He did save people, just not in flashy ways. Snyder showed a more realistic Superman who was still learning. People wanted more hero shots, but his journey was about becoming that symbol, not starting as one. He saved people, but Snyder made it real — less show, more struggle. He becomes the hopeful hero later, not right away.
