Currently 34 weeks pregnant and still going 🍼💦 I breastfed my firstborn @princessa.azabae until she was 4.5 years old—through infancy, toddlerhood, and weaning. When I got pregnant with my second, my OB recommended I stop by the third trimester, and I did. Azabae adjusted beautifully, but in hindsight, I wish I trusted myself more. I ended up giving birth to Aletheia at 35 weeks—not because of breastfeeding, but likely due to the 40+ hour workweeks and high-stress demands of being an OR nurse at the time. Now, in my third pregnancy with baby boy on the way and Aletheia still just 1 year old, I’ve continued to breastfeed her on demand. No complications. No issues with baby boy. Just tuning into my body and both my babies. This is my experience—not medical advice. Talk to your OB. Trust your body. Align yourself with your child.
