The Coffee Bar in Lake Placid (sit on the balcony overlooking the lake!), Adirondack Chocolates, Origin Coffee Co in Saranac Lake, theres a farmers market in saranac lake on Saturdays at the north end of lake flower and theres a booth there with all sorts of breads and soft pretzels. I really enjoyed Tail o the pup for food plus they have live music most nights
