I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE SAY TO FORGIVE WHEN PEOPLE HAVEN'T APOLOGIZED. Like, I can move on, but forgive? No. If you aren't sorry, then you will never get my forgiveness. 🤷🏻♀️"forgiveness is for you, not them" - no, moving on is for me. Forgiveness IS for them, and plenty of people don't deserve that.

As an abuse survivor, THANK YOU! I’m so sick of the narrative that we’re supposed to forgive those who hurt us even if they didn’t apologize as a means of healing. I’m not forgiving my abuser; I’m putting him in a uranium glass jar with dead flies, coffin nails, Carolina Reapers, wolf’s bane, datura, and broken mirror shards. (Can I have my gnome bacon now? 😇)
