55 here. I work out bc I physically feel better. I know I will never reclaim the body of my 20s and 30s but I love my age. The clarity, the discernment that comes with age, the wisdom of years is priceless.

It’s not about competing with younger women - I celebrate the younger women - it’s about being the best version of me at whatever age milestone I’m lucky enough to get to. He doth protest too much - guessing he was rejected by too many smart women over 40 and he’s lashing out 😁

We're "choosy" because they're competing with our peace, not other men. In my case, it's discernment. IF the Lord decides He has someone for me, I'm not going to clutter the board with time wasters. 😏 And a lot of the single men over 40 are time wasters.

Dude, working out helps me relieve stress and I'm also trying to make my joints stop hurting. I also think I'm choosier than I was when I was young because I know I can support myself and I've seen how bad men treat me.

20 and 30 year olds get Botox and work done too. I started getting Botox at 32 and now 45 and do lasers, Botox, sculptra, and workout 2hrs a day to make me feel and look good for myself. I have a better body and skin now at 45. I call it self care and feeling good about yourself. ❤️
