it was hammy, it felt like it was meant to be hammy. Comic books are hammy. the misogyny isnt in disliking the scene, its in giving more grace for hamminess with male characters but not female characters.

My main issue with the scene is that its them coming to "help" the lady who just flew through a spaceship. I would think she's got it.

My biggest gripe with that scene is that Marvel proved they could do better in Infinity War. That scene where Okoye, Black Widow, and Scarlet Witch teamed up was a great example of a natural and effective girl power moment. They could have done so much better, but apparently they got lazy.

The "she has help" scene was corny af but who realistically cares? Let them girl boss out for all of 5 minutes IF THAT. It's really not that serious If you liked it, that's fantastic, im happy for you. If you didn't like it, oh well, took up less than 1% of the movie.

Another thing I just feel bringing up is I’ve noticed that women will consume content with a male lead with no problem but it’s a lot more infrequent for the other way around (men consuming content with a female lead) so I’m praying for supergirl 🙏

its people like you who put down all the other studios all over the world.. There are plenty of non white superheros movies if you actually looked for them. So should I tell every movie studio to shutdown cause in your mind they are not worthy...do better
