If your bearded dragon keeps getting out from the top of the cage (which you should have a front opening cage with reptiles). You should asap move the cage, and buy a front opening LOCK cage. They come with locks, hawke is an irresponsible owner

if I'm not mistaken there are clips that you can buy to better secure tank lids for this exact reason. it wasn't your parents or your siblings responsibility to make sure that your animals were properly contained. you knew it was a problem and it should have been solved a long time ago

I leave my reptiles home alone all day everyday? How’s that an excuse. My animals all have proper locks on their tanks to prevent escapes because yes they will escape if you don’t prevent it. I couldn’t imagine blaming my mom for not watching a pet that’s not hers

Hi! I have 6, yes 6 bearded dragons, and 15, other lizards. YES bearded dragons can open a top opening tank, BUT they have locks specifically made for top opening tanks. if he was escaping out of the tank ALREADY before doing that, how does one not think to PUT SOMETHING on top of it..

They were out later than what was agreed upon the siblings probably got tired and the parents probably had things to do. If the bearded dragon died recently enough for them to see fresh blood then that means that their family had their own responsibilities to take care of while they were out irresponsibly drinking and or partying. Sounds like it is still their fault!

I’m sorry but all my new animals are in the vet within 48 hours of stepping toe in my house because I have other animals like plan out when you get animals and have the money saved up to afford what is needed in the first steps of a new pet that’s a VERY avoidable death

I do feel bad for hawke, but I also wish hed understand specifically in the case of Margo, he definitely didnt do the right thing at all I think hawke loved his animals bit I domt think he should have lied about Margo yknow and stuff like that
