I’m 35 and wear headphones every time I enter and leave the office and walk to/from work. I don’t want the good morning, happy x-day of the week, have a good lunch, have a good night monotony. Its always been rude to try to talk to someone openly wearing headphones, even 45 years ago (not 18 years) when the Walkman came out. Just because YOU struggle with remote connections, does not mean those connections aren't valid or meaningful.
