my husband & i havent slept in the same room in 8 yrs. he snores like a jackhammer & sleeps diagonally (evn on a king bed) & I need several pillows all around me & music to sleep. both our sleeping habits annoy the other one. frankly, aftr 8 yrs I'm pretty convinced that royalty & rich ppl in the past really understood how bedrooms should work. like u always hear "kings quarters" & "queens quarters" cuz they didnt evr sleep in the same room. &I'm pretty sure thats the secret to marriage.

100% agree. My ideal situation would be to have a duplex so we could have our own space. closed door means closed door. It's not that hard
