JD is more politically savvy than Trump, but that's not a high bar. A lot of the fears people have of him assume he will take over MAGA when Trump's gone. But it's a cult of personality and JD's personality is whatever he thinks is more politically advantageous. he's not going to be able to convince those people to follow him blindly. I would be shocked if he convinces any of them to respect him.

If he was trying to get voted in for the presidency and had to rely on being liked enough, I’d agree with you. My concern is him being handed the position and doing as much as he can to push P2025 and this weird tech bro oligarchy into legitimacy during the remainder of this term. I think that it would take a long time before MAGA would step up and fight back because he’s effectively been christened by DJT to take the reigns and they will trust in that for as long as they absolutely can.
