plus all their fancasts are just fully white/chinese kids. damian is half arab and it plays a part into his character and upbringing… you can’t cast a fully white kid for that

I feel like Damian will start off as a very hated character during his time in the dcu. And eventually go on to be a genuinely liked/loved character.

i don’t like when they mess w character ages but seeing a live action irl 10 year old fighting crime looks very different from a 10 year old in comics and animation😭 like maybe they could make it work but it would be incredibly difficult for it to not look goofy as hell

the casting definitely needs to be picked with extreme care. because on one side everything you say is real but at the same time the dramatic weight of Damian's story is gonna be extremely difficult to portray with a child actor that their skills are probably not gonna be up to part.my best bet is a new(ish) talent a couple of years older that Damian but with enough baby face to portray the characters age (or as close as possible),that or they find a actor prodigy
