Western southern ky, I go to nashville for most shows. Drkmttr is a great non-profit and all ages venue. Exit/In, basement east, brooklyn bowl, etc are all good venues for local and sometimes more popular bands. My favorite local bands are Good Samaritan, Kandi and the Kavities, Concrete Paradise, C*msh*t Wound, etc etc. there’s a show at drkmttr this Friday that has two of my favorite artists if anyone lives in nashville and is trying to get into the live (noncountry) music scene id def check it out :3

the 9:30 club for ppl in the dmv of all ages. it costs money but it's super cool and hosts small artists !!
