@tltheprofessor: Men and pursuit...I was asked why I didn't ask for a woman's number when it was clear she was interested, and then a general statement was made that men (the clarifying word of "some" or "many" wasn't used) don't take the lead when a woman does show interest. At the core of it all, no one has to like anyone. Rejection has a consistent and realistic presence in the dating pool. On the latter piece, I can't say that all men know when to take the lead, nor can I say that all men drop the ball in these scenarios.
