my mom never made us eat anything we didn't like she would constantly ask us if we wanna try it but never pushed us to eat or finish everything on our plates as long as we ate something we were good. and now all 3 of us are adventurous foodies we would try anything abd everything (within reason) at least once. and another thing she didn't do was cook different meals (she would make what she knew we would eat) but not different meals and if we didn't eat it that's fine there was something else we would find like a sandwich or idk
