It would be a huge mistake to go to a warm state in October. You want to go to the northeast. The leafs are all changing colors. The weather is perfect. You want to experience Halloween with fall weather. Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire would be perfect for the rv.

“Warm” weather based, ending on Halloween. Orlando, FL (Universal haunted houses/Aug 29 - Nov 2) > Go West and take I-19/I-98 up the coast towards New Orleans. It’s 700 miles Orlando to New Orleans, but I-98 is the slow/coastal route. Weather in the fall, even in the South, can be a toss up.

start in Massachusetts especially Salem then see NH VT ME MA then head South. east Coast states are smaller so you can see a lot of different states where before you were in big states on the west coast. From Massachusetts to Florida is less miles I believe then California top to bottom.

Start at Salem for Halloween! Then head to Acadia National Park for the first sunrise experience in the US on Cadilac Mtn. Then hit Portland Maine and the Casco Bay experience for a couple days.. then head south to Boston for the founding fathers experience. Boom! 💥🎉
