The world doesn’t care about anything related to Africa and African culture. It only makes sense this is her most underrated album. It’s too African for most people. Quite the shame.

I think part of it was that it was off the back of the lion king film so people weren’t sure if it was a pure Beyoncé album. And the film was locked behind paywall on Disney. But I’ve watched it a million times and it has some stunning songs on it.
