Headcanon that i stole from someone: taph is actually jim from Jim's computer underneath the cloak. He's mute bc jim sh0t himself from what looks like the jaw, making taph unable to talk once he got forsakened. And in Jim's computer, jim was boarding up his house like taph was hiding himself.
