It’s sad I talk to internet strangers more than my own family. Like my sibling has no clue about me. Mostly she’s self centered narc. Met and told a stranger my story. They comforted me unlike my own family. I’m too sensitive and over emotional 🙄🙄

It's simple family and/or friends have proven untrustworthy.😔 silent = listen. You may not have told them any of problems but something they did/said that you were watching that showed you they are not to trusted.

So I’m gonna respond to each of your points like my therapist did me.. because these are 1000000% things I’ve said hahaha #1 let people make their own decisions about the capacity they have to make time for you. You are making the decision FOR them by talking yourself out of reaching out

Gurllll!!! That ending , is exactly how I feel lately. I exist to work and that is it. Chasing weekend to weekend to be able to melt into my comfy chair and not be bothered

#2 if you care about them and they care about you- you are not a burden.. that’s just what your brain tells you. Possibly past trauma (that’s my reason) allowing ppl to show up for you is good for both you and them. The more you do it- the easier it gets! My therapist literally had me make a list of ppl I could call bc I was certain I was “overusing” my support system and I’d check off when I leaned on someone and go to someone different the next time

#3 the feelings/emotions you feel are HUMAN therefore- “I don’t want them to see me that way” you don’t want them to see you as human? Because we all have struggles. When you put it that way- it sounds silly right? Call them folks! lol

Remember social media is a highlight reel.. many of them married folks ain’t happy and lmsome folks who own homes are house poor. Comparison is the thief of joy. And depending on what you’ve been through sometimes just existing is something to celebrate there were days when I didn’t think I’d make it to this day. There were some days that I didn’t wanna make it to the next day yet I’m still here. Set small goals and celebrate the milestones! I’m 39, single, & desperately want to be a mother… sis we gotta take life one day at a time.
