When I was a kid I would get SO excited whenever someone confused me for a boy - I remember running to my mom and being like "mom! mom! he thinks I'm a BOY!" And she offered to correct him and I got offended and told her not to lol

I’m so jealous of people who always knew 💔 I didn’t know until I was 14 and now I’m stuck being told that since I didn’t always know that I “can’t really be sure” 😒 I know my own gender thank you. Some of us don’t realize until we’re in the nursing home god forbid

I also desperately wanted to be a boy when I was a kid. My mum let me wear the boys clothes and shave my hair. And then when I grew up I grew out of it. Whether it's a phase or not support your damn kids!

I remember majority of my childhood I imitated my dad, did what he did, thought I’d grow up to be a dad too. My mom always said “yeah bc he was present in your life” but I said “you were more present and I never did that with you” and that truly opened her eyes that I ALWAYS KNEW
