I get them every once in a while and never expect them. It’s cool when i’m already getting $14 and they hand me a five. Got a $20 once because a woman ordered to her work address by mistake and i took to her home 4 miles extra.

It does feel good because that rarely happens. I got a $43, 5 miles from Arby's. Get inside to find out that it was picked up and the original driver stole it. 2 drivers inquired before me and unassigned without asking for a remake or anything. I contacted the customer and he confirmed he didn't get it. Employees remade it i dropped it off and the pay was mostly base with a $5 tip and I got an additional $20 afterwards. This was Uber and I've never seen a base pay that high. I'll take it though

the last time I ordered door dash I did the minimum tip on the app then handed him a $10 as he was leaving. I usually do if I happen to have cash on me

Out of almost 12000 orders delivered for almost 8 years of delivering for Ubereats....I remember around 20 cash tips. It happens but rarely😂😂😂

A couple months ago I had 20 dollar 5 mile order for a single 750ml bottle of southern comfort. When I got there the man handed me another 20. Made my day

Really. Mine was ubereats. Got a good tip on the app and cash tip. Sometimes its unbelievable when it happens.

I do better than every 5 years. But the very first cash tip I remember was impressing, the lady forgot to change her address and asked me to deliver to the address she was at. I figured if I didn’t my completion rate would drop. It turned out to be little under a mile away… she tipped $10 on the app and once I delivered the order, she tipped another $20… I felt like Bigfoot wanted only me to see him that day.
