In food service we have a process called FILO which is short for first in, last out. This means the freshest food is served last so no food sits out for too long. Similar to if you have 2 gallons of milk in your fridge, you finish the old one first so none of them go bad.

They normally use those stickers for boxes in the walk-in cooler or freezer to help rotate product. They probably ran out of the normal stickers for the snack wrap so they used that instead.
