From what my husband has heard, being a UPS employee, UPS is already sending half of their packages to a sister company that is already owned by UPS. So, when the current contract ends in 3 years, they won’t need the union anymore so they won’t have to agree to anything which will then get rid of the union and they can hire who they want and pay what they want.

They continue to overhire and then their HR people go to conferences bragging about how many people they can hire in a short amount of time. Go on LinkedIn and search UPS and fountain.

The Union will rewrite the layoff verbage. To benefit them and layoffs will follow in order of oldest based on Physicals. Hence the old will be pushed out as an INSIDER, I do suggest maybe highly consider some of these offers. The mysterious ways of UPS is at play and their current partner in Crime is the UNION

Take the money and run while it’s available. This offer won’t last and after that they’ll send out another letter saying thank you for your service, but your services aren’t needed anymore. I know it’s hard, but there are other jobs out there. ✝️🙏❤️💪

I took a buyout from company years ago and was the best thing I did in the long run. It’s still tough though

And it’s unearned income so the taxes are HIGH, example an Indianapolis IN worker would have 48% withheld in taxes

Buyouts suck. Walgreens is going through the same process. I cannot see any benefit to employees.

See what happens cause yall got greedy. Businesses are realizing they don't have to deal with Unions. Amazon is still fighting against Unions too. Idk why people think they can go to combat against billion dollar organizations and come out on top. Short term success is not victory lol. UPS and Amazon and FedEx just pretty much put everyone in a 2-3 turn checkmate

30 year NY UPS driver. it's definitely geared towards the guys who are leaving already. My plan was to retire at 62, only 4 years away. I'll stick to my plan and not take the buyout.
