Honestly, just following some of the home inspectors here on TikTok you can learn A TON about these new construction homes, they go up quick and cheap, and it is clear in the inspection!!

And Pulte. We bought Pulte home in 2001 and LOVED it. They were so great. Bought another in 2024…exact opposite feeling. It’s so disappointing. Will never buy from them again.

I’m thinking of working with a local builder but I’m so scared to work with them I know they are and A+ BBB accredited didn’t find them in the website. But I’m not sure what that means

As someone who’s dad is a small local builder with his own business I can attest just no with those you’ve talked about. At least 1 has come into my hometown & I’ve seen first hand the issues. Do research and go with someone local and support small!

It comes down to the foreman and profit margin. Those builders have low priced homes in bulk. A/c guy told me he could patch it for 5k or make it right for 25k. Tight profit margin would select 5k. Large profit margin me would pick 25k.
