I've sang at that church and let me tell you it's just as exhilarating for the singer as it is for the listener. Definitely a must-see when in Helsinki.

Incredible place, that copper ceiling 😍 the organ 💯 rock, concrete and daylight filtering through. Almost didn't have a proper look inside due to entry fee but it's beautiful, worth a visit. Can also walk around some of the edge of roof area on top of the rock

Local here 🙋♀️my schools 2-6th grade and 7-9th grade was close by and we did go 2 time a year to this church (Christmas and Easter). I do recommend attending concert, of course it's also worth going during the day and seeing the church in all it beauty.

In my town we have this Hotel Mesikämmen which is also designed by Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen. It has lots of same elements than that church. Natural rock walls when you go to the lower levels.
