if part of the reason I had a dip of grades is because my father was battling alcoholism would it be helpful to put it in the additional information section (2-3 sentences) even though my common app essay touches on the topic? It’s more focused on how I grew from the experience, not about my GPA.

Is it okay if I use the additional information section to address me graduating early or is that unnecessary? I won’t have a junior year for activities technically so would that be good to mention? Also for my activies since i’m graduating a year early do I check off my activities i’m doing for my senior semester as 11th and 12th grade year activities?
