come to Michigan, especially in the big cities. Goodwill is ridiculous. their prices are way too high now and they get this stuff for free

Florida prices at Goodwill are most of the time above retail. And it could be literally a piece of junk and they would still want more than full retail price. That’s why I never go there anymore.

my local salvation army has used 80's-90's couches for $100 and up. average dresser is $80 and needing repairs, yet in the same town a set of cherry end tables I tried to sell for $100 wouldn't sell, even dropped the price down to $50, ended up giving them to my mother in law. nothing sells here yet prices are super high. I try to sell stuff reasonable and still can't sell it. they want it for free and delivered here.
