It may be good but the time given is not enough, 60-90 days 🧐and if these ppl can’t afford their rent by then they will b homeless.. that’s crazy…

I have 3 children. They are grown now their ages 32,30 and 26 i have five grandchildren. I was a teenage mother. I beat the odds. I worked I went to school. I graduated and I raise my children without the government. No section 8, no food stamps. I was not raised on government assistance. Therefore I didn't raise my children on government assistance. They are not raising their children on government assistance. People need to learn to budget their money and stop trying to live like them idols.Iam so happy that they are cutting section 8, now people will start to humble themselves and it back to reality. Learn to spend that money wise!!!!!

I feel that in certain situations, it should be an emergency type a thing where the two years would apply, but they would have to show progress or moving forward and getting themselves out of that situation. But give them 60 or 90 days to change their situation like that is very hard for some people. That is just being cruel. I think that they should be put into a program that will help them be able to move forward and do like a step down process. Where the rent slowly increases to where they eventually will be off section 8.. now the ones that cannot work because they are disabled or elderly there should not be any time limit for them to be on section 8.

I think 2 years would be nice, but Everybody should start out with 2yrs once it's start with the State, they should not be given 60 or 90 days.

it's sad but since COVID people on housing haven't got any rent increases even if their income got higher that was a opportunity to get ahead hopefully they used it

Even if they have jobs. They still won’t qualify for apartments due to lack of income. You can’t afford cost of living off $15 a hour.
