Zillennial here! I studied trend forecasting and I’m pretty confident Gen Z is ab to dive head first into romanticizing millennials and actually wanting to be cringe. I’m already starting to see early adopters romanticizing millennials and things like “tumblr era” and “millennial core”. They just are weirdly obsessed w assigning an aesthetic to everything lol

Millennials didn’t label stuff cringe, we just clocked it as someone being a little weird or random, and honestly, that was high praise. It meant you weren’t boring. It meant you were doing your own thing. It meant you had main character energy before TikTok even knew what that was.

Y'all just let gen z live. Is there any particular reason that we need to pick on these kids? We are grown adults now and they are still just trying to figure it all out. Give them time, be supportive, and help them find their individualism, don't just judge them for not having it.
