Agreed. I had a nervous teen as a patient that got excited when she noticed my outline of Peter Pan and Wendy, she was able to chat about books she loved while the DR took care of lancing and stitching and she was calm and content.

I have 11 tattoos all with story’s behind them for my sister who passed from cancer I got the ribbon her name and her saying for my mom who passed I got her fingerprint with her date of birth and date of death in a heart I have one for my dad one for my mom and dads last name with birth years one for my son with last name and date of birth and death and then all 4 of my kids name and footprints on my back🥺

I don’t care if anyone has tattoos. As long as they’re good at their job, that’s all that matters. I love how you helped calm that little girl before her surgery. That’s be a caring person.

idk what kind of job you have you shouldn't have to cover up a tattoo. I mean come on ppl grow up. Just because someone has a tattoo or 10 doesn't mean they can't do their job. That was awesome of you to let her color your tattoos in 🥰 love it

I am a therapist have a sleeve and the other arm is almost done! I work with children and families and my kiddos love them! It gets them talking and builds report with them and the families!

At our hospital, tattoos are not allowed. if a nurse has one, she wears long sleeves and flesh colored bandages!!

If I end up inthe hospital for whatever reason, I don't care what the doctor or nurse is wearing or has tattoos, they are here to help me, not gonna say no 😂

Out hospital has removed the restriction on visible tattoos but I believe we still have to have hair in “natural colors”!
