This 2.4-mile out-and-back trail kicks off from the Glenoaks Canyon neighborhood (look for the wooden stairs at the end of Valle Vista Dr). There's no official parking, but street parking was easy—just be respectful of the locals! 🥾 Expect a well-maintained single-track trail at first, then a wide fire road with 452 ft of elevation gain. You’ll earn sweeping 360° views of: 🏙️ Glendale, La Cañada, Mt. Wilson, Griffith Park, DTLA, the Pacific Ocean & more! 🌞 Heads up: there’s zero shade and no amenities nearby, so bring water, sunscreen, and solid hiking shoes (some steep sections). 🚫 Missed a turn? If you go right at the 0.3-mile fork, you’ll hit Sleepy Hollow Dr. Stay straight for the full view—your turnaround point is above the 2 & 134 freeway junction at 1.2 miles. 📍Short. Scenic.
