My friend and I went on a New Orleans Vampire history tour and we both believe it was led by a real Vampire. He was very graceful, walking backwards the whole time even though there were many obstacles he never tripped. Our tour started with about 12 people and by the end it was just me and my friend. He ended the tour and literally disappeared while walking down the street.

I create a podcast and one ep I talked about vampires in New Orleans. I then received an anonymous message on insta from someone who lives In New Orleans that claimed to be a vampire. All it said was yes we do exist. I took it as a joke. And let it be. When I went back to show my brother the whole account was gone from the sender. Not sure what to think but it was weird.

There’s a rumor in my family that my aunt was killed by a vampire. I’m not sure how to feel about it or even if I believe it. Officially, she died of sepsis when she was just 9, back when my dad was a teen. But some say it was something darker. My grandma, known for her deep empathy, would often bring home strangers to help them. Once, while in the hospital, she met a crying woman who seemed desperate. Feeling sorry for her, she brought her home as a maid (in my country, having maids is super common). She even gave her some money and told her she could start work the next day.
