I worry so much that with the rapid weight loss people on GLP-1s are experiencing is making those of us not on a GLP-1 feel even more inadequate for doing the slow and steady method

The hardest part is discipline. Discipline works 100% of the time when motivation only works about 40%. Starting is the hardest part imo. Once you get that schedule down and get a groove going then it’s much easier

my wife took a year to lose 20 pounds. but she noticed her shirts are looser. She's getting consistent, moving more, and is excited to start some strength training because she FINALLY feels like it's working.

I think people make too many changes at once so it becomes a chore to do them. Small changes are easier to manage like drinking more water and or simply walking.

I needed to hear this today. I’ve been working out 4-5 times every week for a month and a half now and the scale isn’t going down and even going up and I was doubting myself, but I’m gunna keep on keepin on 🙏 thank you❤️

I started so slow. Started with changing my daily coffee to sugar free then I dropped to one soda then switched some things I eat then started tracking but not counting calories etc etc it was so slow and now last week I started weight training. It was legit 1 thing at a time. I’m now down 45lbs and halfway to my first big big goal but it was so many little goals first

I was kind of thrown into it, I have health issues that I need to lose weight for. it is a daily choice and some days are harder but as soon as I started feeling my clothes being bigger on me, I gained so much confidence and I feel better

You can't stay on track bc your body literally is fighting against you. It thinks you are in a famine. takes a ton of self surveillance. Look into medical interventions (glp 1 or surgery) and it will make it a bit easier, though not a magic bullet

Been walking and tracking macros for 2 months down to 196 from 205... I looked back on old photos, saw a picture I took in December of my scale.. it was 197. 😐 I hate it here.
