Kitchen shears are absolutely a thing. I use them every day. Most super nice knive sets come with them. You store them in the knive block.

Why is this a revolutionary concept for you? Kitchen shears come on knife blocks for a reason. I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t have at least one pair. They go into the dishwasher after use just like every other utensil.

We use multiple pairs daily in our house. It’s so handy for meat trimming, cutting the toddlers foods, etc. We have pizza slice scissors too!
