It’s impossible to force reality on those who benefit from denial folks! Those that call you out for even suggesting people can live joyous, happy and free lives without AA must have their identity so tied up in Fellowship for them to be bothered enough to put finger to keyboard and declare how it works for the small percentage who walk through the doors. Do they really think that those who don’t stay and leave become the hopeless drunks or ‘dry drunks’ they’re told they will be if they don’t practice the 12 steps for the rest of their lives?

I have been on this road of recovery for over 25 years ,10 years in the cult AA ,10 years back on the sauce and sober since 10,/06/2021 ,the narcissistic, gaslighted, manipulation of sick peaple have had a terrible effect on my life ,I constantly doubt myself ,am I being selfish ,is the other person's needs greater than mine ,this is what was pushed down my throat in AA ,I will be glad when it's finished, stay ssfe

The worst part is when they tell you that you’re having an addict mentality or something🤣🤣 every time I’ve told an AAer that I don’t do AA they literally accuse me of using and being a bad person and I’m like you gotta chill

I left after 20 plus years and am recovering from recovery. One thing I've seen is, the victim mentality is still prevalent. Using the disease stigma to stay stuck... there is soooo much more that I could talk about... whew. I'm open to talk about it tho.. it needs to be talked about.

I was in a group setting last week with other addicts and I said one thing about AA that wasn't even that bad all I said was it doesn't work for everybody and an AA'er in the room jumped down my throat telling me I don't know what im talking about AA works for everybody if you work it blah blah blah. like ok buddy

hey I just learned something from you....how to handle all these people who wanna make u out to be a lier but I have sincerely learning how to deal w that side of what we doing .I don't explain twice and if I get dumb comments well I'm not so nice about it but that's because I'm not used to having things that need a good punch and not being able to end whatever it is that is making me angry. I watch video you make and I pay close attention to the way you go about gut punching someone with out actually doing it..I like how you present the comments and proceed to try and educate brain washed people. I don't like how your being positive and bring awareness to issues I been calling out for a long time.goung against what u were taught to believe is hard enough but then you start to see everything wrong with it. I was ostracized and criticized by aa and na because from the get I saw things that was not talked about but should have . I've watched my mom and pops chair meetings and sponsor people after I introduced them to the program when I was in drug court..I couldn't have been more proud of my parents for doing it....until I. noticed that their talk at the meetings wasn't matching up with their behavior at home... I caught them and confronted them about hustling people in the program of aa or na..my mom responded "we not giving them alcohol.. that would be wrong. so we don't do na just aa. " I come to find out that maybe 4 percent of the people attending aa or na were there for help....nobody gives a fuck if u use drugs it's the behavior people exibitt while high cause people to start questioning why and the people who are acting like idiots blame the drug...for so long people used addiction as an excuse for their shitty as behavior...start acting shitty cause you don't want to control yourself and so now we have people being profiles as junkies or dopeheads..there are millions of people who do drugs every day but you don't know it because they don't exhibit that dope head mentality or have the behavior of one ...so now I know a lot of people who don't use anything at all but I would swear they were dopeheads. if u focus on the reason why u want to use..

I wish my whole point was posted…. As per our podcast. We are PRO sobriety…. Period. We’ve had every program represented. My point is when people say AA doesn’t work. They are wrong because it works wonders for me. I also think bashing AA or saying it doesn’t work may sway someone that it coukd work for. Again, I am pro sobriety. But I guess that doesn’t fuel your narrative.
