I truly hate anyone who calls Douma just a villain with no meaning. He was forced to be the leader of a cult as a CHILD, he was burdened with the fate of thousands of ADULTS, Douma never had a childhood, upbringing and love, no one taught him how to properly recognize emotions, no one was there to show him what is good and what is bad. He is just a child, abandoned from childhood, he lived alone until the age of 20, solving other people's problems, simply because his parents are such disgusting people who decided to make him a god because of the color of his eyes. He's not an emotionless, flat villain, he didn't become a demon just as a joke - he just didn't know the world and what you can feel in it too much, so he acts like a child, trying to compensate for the endless loneliness 💔 Just a scientific fact: children learn the correct display of emotions from their parents, who bring them up and show them what is bad, what is good, and what is possible and what is not; Douma was deprived of absolutely any education, and then his parents completely committed sui11cide, leaving the underage Douma alone to cope with the duties of a leader. I know that in 122 years of his life he could gain experience, but because of such loneliness in childhood, he probably got an antisocial or borderline disorder, which he will NEVER get rid of.

Shinobu fans don't understand that their favorite wanted to be EATEN anyway, poisoned herself for years and was slowly killing herself. Douma ate her just for the sake of the plot to work and that's what happened, Shinobu was already ruining herself from the very beginning. and douma gwts hate for that.
