I was told I was faking, and sent home. that night I had another where I stopped breathing multiple times and had to be intubated. The same doctors and nurses who were instructed to not help me were forced to take lessons on seizure disorders.

i was just diagnosed with fnd after experiencing one in the er. drs need to realize that even if it's not due to epilepsy specifically, people can still experience seizures :(

My seizures were diagnosed as non epileptic a got worse over the years they became life threatening eventually I saw an epilepsy specialist and he told me he found spikes and sharps on my recent EEG and that he had no doubt that I have some form of epilepsy, and he had also diagnosed me with epilepsy based on what he found now I am on three different seizure, meds and almost seizure free

How did they diagnose you with epilepsy, I’ve had epilepsy since a child and they said it was too deep in my brain to see on eeg but since last year I started having a lot more and during day time becuase they were only nocturnal before and they said they are non epileptic because nothing shows on my eeg even though when I was 3 it never showed either
