I had the same thing , I swapped my toothpaste to a non SLS one and it went away . Also I wouldn’t recommend hydrocortisone as it only temporarily helps and has bad side effects with continuous usage .

omg I hated that so bad when it happened to me.. so basically STOP SCRATCHING, and then u should put hydrocortisone if it’s itchy but only a small amount, you can also add aloe if u do end up scratching a lot, and then just moisturize all the time with aquaphor or Vaseline and stay out of the sun when u can bc it will make it flare up

It’s eczema, if you go to the doctor they can prescribe a balm that heals

i had this 5 years ago, i went to an alergy doctor and they told me i had eczema. i had this around my lips and my eyelids. they prescribed me with montelukas (it really helped with all of my eczema, not just around the lips) and i got prescribed mometasone furoate cream 0.1% and i still use it to this day whenever my lips get irritated. the doctor also told me that my lips use to be like that (red around) because of lip licking. please go to your local allergy doctor and you can get prescribed these things because my lips were exactly like yours 💗

it could be ur detergent/softener, face wash, or moisturizer. try to use clear nd fragrance free products. i use free & clear detergent nd lysol clothes sanitizer, good molecules hydrating gel cleanser, nd vanicream hyaluronic acid moisturizer on damp skin just make sure to seal it with a thicker cream i use a lil bit of nivea. do ur face out the shower, wash ur hands with gold antibacterial soap before nd after washing ur face, try not to touch anything after washing ur hands i swearr it’s important. only use paper towels to dry off ur hands/face! ikk ts is a lottt but i promise uuu it worked for me lmk if u need in depth details

triamcinolone acetonide cream or ointment, i would recommend the 0.1% i think it works the best and also i feel like the cream is better if you dont want that oily feeling on your skin :)
