With my ex-husband it was like this. I never had access to his bank account, didn't know if he had money or not, and couldn't even look at his phone. Funny enough, he got caught of cheating because he accidentally sent me the message what was ment for other woman. Now with my second husband , we share finances, pin codes, access to phones etc. Absolutely zero secrets. He is not just my husband, he is my best friend, he always put me first. Didn't even know this type of happiness can exist. 🥰

My husband and I on our second date revealed finances… debt! Engaged in 4 months already had joint bank accounts and making plans … got married 2 months later! I manage the finances/ he trusts me to do so… he tells me I don’t even need to work if I don’t want to! This type of relationship isn’t a marriage poor girl

I disagree with sharing passwords for social media. I think if you trust someone that’s allowed. Some people just like halving everything I guess, but what I wouldn’t like is not knowing what he’s on ha ha

This advice is not a “one size fits all.” As a counselor, there are some valid reasons why a husband does not disclose finances. There are two sides to a story. Hear his side before passing judgement. I’m dealing with the exact situation with a couple and we found out that there were VERY valid reasons for why his wife does not have access to his finances.
